2026 MBS Feldenkrais
Training Program

In continuation of the legacy of Moshe Feldenkrais and our dear teacher, Mia Segal, the enrollment for the 2026 MBS Feldenkrais Training Program is now open.

Taking place in Bad Tölz,Germany, the MBS Feldenkrais Training in the tradition of Mia Segal will start in February 2026. This program will certify you to teach professionally after 2 years.

The highly refined curriculum that has been developed for decades will give you the skills to teach group classes and 1-on-1 Functional Integration sessions.

Core distinction of the MBS program

1. Hands-on learning with partner work right from the start

What sets the MBS program apart is the teaching of the connection between Awareness Through Movement (ATM) and Functional Integration (FI) from the very start.

Students do partner work from the beginning. They learn to follow their partner´s movement by watching, then verifying it by following the movement with their hands on.

This direct experience supports the development of a profound understanding of the work as Moshé Feldenkrais and Mia Segal intended.

2. Teaching based on fundamental principles

The heart of our approach lies in the masterfully developed curriculum by Mia Segal and Leora Gaster, that has been refined over decades.

The program teaches you the fundamental principles and critical thinking behind the Feldenkrais Work. This allows our graduates to truly understand how ATMs and FIs are structured. This enables them to create their own movement lessons adapting to their students, rather than following the transcripts of Moshé´s recorded movement lessons.

3. Essence of the movement and developing the quality of touch

The quality is exceptionally high due to our focused approach. Students are led to understand the essence or “DNA” of a movement through direct experience.

The emphasis is placed on developing sensitive touch and observation skills. Students are guided to develop the quality of touch of your hands, so that they are able to develop the skill of verifying with their hands, that what they see is actually what is going on.

What Participants Say

Caroline Yabsley, Australia

Caroline Yabsley, Australia

My involvement with the actual work of Dr Moshe Feldenkrais goes back 40 years when I first did my initial training. I worked professionally for a while, but I always felt that there was something missing. I found gold when I did this training and found out what was missing. The difference here with this work is the direction on how to pay attention to what you are feeling and specific questions to ask yourself.

- Caroline Yabsley, Certified MBS Practitioner, Australia

Robert Bozeman, USA

The experience of being a student was extraordinary. The students that I study with, we stay connected. It has become an extended family for us. This training is unique is so many ways. Going through this training and becoming an MBS practitioner opened the door for me to a bigger way of thinking about the body, movement, not only for my clients but for me.

Fiona Phua, Singapore

Now, I see a great difference in the way I teach and approach Pilates through a system of questions rather than through instructions and corrections. I am so appreciative of the MBS work because I am taught the principles of the work and a system of questions. I really appreciate the philosophies that I got from the work, it is so much more than just movement. This work has really changed my life.

The personalized attention we received during the training was transformative.

The MBS trainers have incredibly keen eyes with the ability to aid and guide students to the real essence of the work. Following each in-person segment, I not only felt I had a deeper understanding of what this work is about, but for my own body, I was transformed. When I sat at the piano again, my fingers, hands and arms glided over the keys with incredible ease.

Alena Brandt: Riding Instructor, Journalist and certified MBS Practitioner from Göttingen/ Germany

The training changed the way I think and am. Understanding the connection between body, mind, and emotion led me to a deeper insight into myself. Especially the quality of touch and learning how to convey that touch to others was one of the most beautiful experiences. I not only perceived movement differently, but also the different personalities and uniqueness of people.

The richness of the program has been a profound gift. Through direct experience, I’ve learned to embrace curiosity, let go of perfectionism, and discover the joy of learning with play and ease.

I cannot emphasize on how rich the entire programme has been and how much impact the course made on me. I love the simplicity and richness of the work and how it is a gift that keeps giving.
